Community is a public forum, thus for security reasons, we are unable to access your account information and check the charge you received. I advise getting in touch with our Customer Support Team. A live agent can safely access your account and talk about the charge. They can also process the removal of the charged amount if needed after verification.

  1. Sign in to your QuickBooks Online company.
  2. Go to the Help menu.
  3. Select either tab to get started:

Two years later, same problem. Why does QB pretend there's a live chat when it's merely sending a bunch of worthless irrelevant articles that don't address the problem?  Why has QB's certificate for Time expired?  Why am I expected to become a computer program to fix the fact that the program doesn't update, either manually or automatically, when it's supposed to?  Why am I, the customer, expected to update QB's expired certificate?  Why is there 'OVER AN HOUR" wait on your phone que?  Why am I still a QB customer?

We can assign a pay schedule to your employees to make running your regular payroll more efficient. If you haven’t already, set up and add a payroll schedule for your employees. After you've set up payroll, it's time to run and submit payroll. The following steps are the same for both paper cheques and direct deposit:

 

Here's how: 

  1. Go to Payroll, then select Run payroll.
  2. Choose a pay schedule, then select Continue.
  3. Select the employees you want to pay.
  4. Verify that you have selected the correct pay period and pay date. You can also modify them as needed.
  5. Change the employee's pay method as needed.
  6. Enter hours worked, if applicable. You can hide or show pay types by selecting Customize table.
  7. Click Preview Payroll.
  8. Verify that you have selected the correct bank account.
  9. Tick the magnifying glass icon next to the cheque's net pay to edit or preview a specific cheque, then select Save when done.
  10. Select Submit payroll.

In the meantime, let's perform some troubleshooting steps to know if it's browser-related. There are times QuickBooks behaves strangely due to stored internet cache files. Let's start by logging in to your QuickBooks account and reactivating it again using a private browsing window. Here are the keyboard shortcuts:

 

  • Safari: Command + Shift + N
  • Google Chrome: CTRL + Shift + N
  • Microsoft Edge: CTRL + Shift + N

 

If it works, return to your regular browser and clear your browser's history to start afresh. You can also utilize different supported browsers because the QuickBooks version you're using now may have a temporary malfunction.

 

Additionally, if you recently canceled your subscription and don't see the option to resubscribe, please note that the cancellation may still be pending. In this scenario, you will retain access to your account until the next billing cycle, allowing you to resubscribe once the cancellation is fully processed.

  2. Find the Billing & Subscription section.
  3. Next to the payment method, click Edit.
  4. Update your credit card info.
  5. Review the address for your credit card.
