I'll be sure to help you out with your pay stub concern, DrJoe1.

 

Just to confirm, did you mean letting your employees view their pay stubs each time you run payroll? If so, you can invite them so they have the visibility of their pay stubs and W-2s. Please be reminded that only the master admin in QBO can send an invitation to employees.

 

Here's how:

 

  1. Go to the Payroll menu, and select Employees.
    • For a new employee, select Add an employee.
    • For an existing employee, select the employee’s name, then select Edit ✎ next to Pay.
  2. Add your employee's info, including their email address.
  3. Then select the Invite this employee to view their pay stubs and W-2s online checkbox.
  4. Select Done.

Once an employee accepts an invitation, they can create their own Intuit Workforce account so they can manage their own user ID, personal settings, and security info.

Before going to the process of deleting the paycheck, may I know what specific error message you receive? In this way, we can further investigate what causes this issue and be more specific in giving resolution.

 

As a workaround, here's how you can delete a paycheck:

  1. On the left navigation pane, go to Employee then select An Employee.
  2. Go to the Paycheck list tab, then choose and click a Paycheck.
  3. Click Delete or Void at the bottom.
  4. Put a Check Mark in the I understand that this action cannot be undone box.
  5. Click Delete Paycheck.

Hello, I want to delete the paycheck because the amount is incorrect. It should now be $1000. not $3000.

I tried to delete it but it keeps giving me "system error" I am not familiar with this chat process, I didn't know there was a response on Friday. So I kept trying to send the same request. Can you take care of the deletion of the paycheck? Thanks.

Depending on the processing time of your payroll service, you may be able to delete the paycheck.

 

If the paycheck isn't submitted yet, you'll still be able to delete it. You can follow the detailed steps provided by my colleague Joseph_A above to delete it.

 

However, if it's already submitted, I suggest contacting our Phone Support Team by requesting a callback. This way, they can help delete or void the paycheck.

 

Here's how you can request a callback from within QuickBooks Online:

 

  1. Click the Help button at the upper right corner, then select Contact US
  2. Enter your question in the What can we help you with? field and choose Continue
  3. Select the Get a callback option.
  4. Fill out your contact information, then select Call me.

Let's ensure that you can log in to your QuickBooks from the desktop icon without any issues, SadMike.

 

If you're referring to QuickBooks Online (QBO) app, you can check if your computer system requirements passed the standard of what the QuickBooks Online (QBO) app requires. If it's okay, you can uninstall the app to do a thorough cleaning and restore it to a clean slate, and refresh the software. Here's how:

Windows 10

  1. Select the Start menu.
  2. Go to Settings, then select System.
  3. From the left pane, select Apps features.
  4. Choose QuickBooks Windows app then select the Uninstall button.

Windows 8.1 and 7

  1. Select the Start menu.
  2. Go to Control Panel then select Programs.
  3. Under Programs and Features, select Uninstall a program.
  4. Choose QuickBooks Windows app then select the Uninstall button.

Mac

  1. Drag the QuickBooks Windows app from the Applications folder to the Trash.
  2. To completely remove the app, go to Finder then choose Empty Trash.

Then, install the app again. After doing so, you can try logging in to your QuickBooks account. However, if the issue persists you can proceed to reset your app data.

QuickBooks 2015 is already outdated and is not compatible with the latest operating system for Mac. I recommend getting the new version and convert your company file.

 

You can contact our Support team to purchase the latest version. Then, you can also ask them for help when converting your company file, especially when you don't have the old operating system anymore.

 

Here's how to contact our Support team:

  2. Choose QuickBooks Desktop for Mac and click Continue.
  3. Select Install and Update.

I can help you unlock your QuickBooks Desktop account, @Jordy.

 

You can reset your password to regain access to your account. Follow the steps below:

  1. From the QuickBooks Desktop Login page, click on the I forgot my password link. 
  2. On the Reset QuickBooks Administrator Password window that appears, provide all the information needed like license number, name, email address, phone number, and ZIP code you originally used when you purchased the product.
  3. Click on OK after adding all the information needed. 
  4. Follow the prompts that guide you in creating a new admin password.

 

In case the password reset doesn't work, try to double-check the information you entered with what's in CAMPS. If you're still having an error, then you can use the Automated Password Reset tool.

It looks like from the emails attached that the State of Texas is saying that they did not get the tax filing for the 1st quarter of 2021. On the other hand it clearly says that they received it and accepted it. Please tell me what you think about the emails.

We want to make sure this is looked into. To make sure you get the accurate confirmation if the state received your filing, we recommend getting in touch with them directly.

 

QuickBooks will provide you the tracking number to confirm the submission. Here's how to get it:

 

  1. Go to the Employees menu and select Payroll Center.
  2. Select the File Forms tab, and then View/Print forms & W-2s.
  3. Tap the File Forms tab, then E-Filings.
  4. Find the form you sent in QuickBooks and get the filing number in the Agency Tracking # column.
  5. Give this number to the state so they can track the submission.

 

If they received the filing, you may report this email to our Support Team so we can trace what's going on. 

 

To get our support, follow the steps below:

 

  1. Open QuickBooks and click the Help menu.
  2. Select QuickBooks Desktop Help.
  3. On the pop-up screen select Contact us.
  4. Click the Search for Something else button then type your concern in the Ask us anything box.
  5. Hit Search then scroll down to get your contact options.
