I'm experiencing the same issue. I followed all the browser recommendations, but I still get the following error:

"Correcting the recipient name or TIN is currently unavailable. We are actively working to enable this feature."

The option to update Recipient Name/TIN will be available soon. You'll need to wait until this feature is enabled. Corrections can only be submitted via the platform where the 1099 forms were initially filed.

At the moment, there isn't a specific timeframe for when this option will be available. You'll receive an email or in-app notification as soon as it's available.

Here we are March 3rd and we still cannot make corrections to form 1099-NEC. This is ridiculous, especially for the amount that is charged annually to us QBO.

There is no contact us tab and now you are charging for experts when it used to come with the software and also....this is a software issue. please provide a clear response. contact us is no longer an option.

My admin is experiencing the same error message when trying to correct and reissue my 1099. She is told by QB the change is coming any day now. This is getting to be ridiculous. The deadline to file is less than a month away and I still do not have my corrected 1099. Can anyone walk her through how to get this completed or give an exact day the problem will be fixed?
