As stated multiple times, throughout this thread, YOU have to take the proper steps to get in touch with them.  No one here can, nor will contact you, unless its for fraudulent reasons.

It's possible that the accumulated cache in the browser is preventing you from uploading your bank transaction. To isolate the issue, you can try uploading the file using an incognito or private window. Feel free to use these shortcut keys:

 

  • Ctrl Shift for Google Chrome
  • Ctrl Shift for Firefox & Microsoft Edge
  • Command Shift for Safari

If it's now working well, go back to their regular browser and then, clear its cache to delete the accumulated junk files and improve your browsing experience. Switching to other supported browsers can also help resolve this issue. In addition, if you're importing a CSV file, you'll want to make sure that i's properly formatted to avoid errors.

I recommend reaching out to our QuickBooks Support Team. They have full access to your account and can review the status of the fund. They can also determine its main cause to ensure it won't happen again.

  3. Enter your concern in the Type something field, then click the send icon.
  4. Click I still need a human.

Ideally, QuickBooks will prompt you to activate your QuickBooks Desktop for Mac after installing it. However, you can also register it manually. Here's how:

 

  1. Open your QuickBooks Desktop for Mac.
  2. Go to the QuickBooks menu, then select Register QuickBooks.
  3. Enter the License and Product numbers, and click Next.
  4. Choose either to Register Online or to be Assisted.

I’m not using Quickbooks on a laptop just my Iphone so I’m guessing just the new version. I was invited by my boss to activate an account so I could see what money was going into my bank account which I did but online. In a web browser. Upon signing into the app it says error & what I’m putting doesn’t exist

With that, may I ask the specific error message you've received? I appreciate any further details so I can provide an accurate solution.

 

For now, you'll have to make sure that you've downloaded the correct QuickBooks Online app. This way, you can ensure that you'll be able to sign in with the email & password you've been signed up with.

 

Furthermore, it's also possible that your QuickBooks Online (QBO) Mobile app had a data issue that's why upon signing into the app it says error & the credentials you've entered don’t exist. To get this fixed, let's refresh your mobile app data from your iPhone settings. Here's how:

 

  1. Select Setting General iPhone Storage and choose an app that's taking up a lot of space.
  2. Click Offload App to free up the storage without deleting the documents and data for the app.

 

Once done, go back and try to log into your QBO account again to verify if it's already working. If you get the same result, I suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the app to refresh the connection. 

 

To uninstall the application, here’s how:

 

  1. Go to the home screen of your device.
  2. Hold down the QuickBooks app until the option to uninstall shows up.
  3. Tap to uninstall the app.

 

To re-install the app:

 

  1. Go to the Play Store (for Android devices) or App Store (for IOS devices).
  2. Search for the QuickBooks app.
  3. Tap Install.

If you're trying to connect a bank account to QuickBooks Checking to transfer money, you'll need to set up an account you already linked for online banking. This is to ensure that you can transfer the funds without any issues.

 

However, if you're already in the steps for transferring money in and out and both debit cards have not been working, I recommend making sure that you set up the transfer correctly. If the issue persists, I suggest contacting our Merchants Services Support Team. This team is the best resource for such inquiries, as they're able to request account information. They can also verify the cause of the transfer issue and investigate why both cards have not been working.

I have created a Fixed Account Cost b/f Account as parent account then I have created a Fixed Asset Addition Account as a child account.

 

My question is : does QB transfer the Fixed Asset Addition Account (i.e. child account) to the Fixed Asset Cost b/f Account (i.e. parent account) after the year end?

Thanks for joining us here in the Community. I'd be glad to provide some info about merging accounts in QuickBooks.

 

Merging accounts will need to be completed manually. I can show you how to get this done. To make sure I can give you the best steps, are you currently using QuickBooks Online or QuickBooks Desktop?

 

If you happen to be using the Online version of the program, the following  steps will walk you through how to merge two accounts:

 

  1. Go back to the Chart of Accounts.
  2. Find the duplicate account (the one you won't keep). Then, select the dropdown ▼ in the Action column and then Edit.
  3. Change the Name and Detail Type so the duplicate account's info matches the account you want to keep exactly. If you need to mark Is sub-account, keep in mind:
    • If only one is a sub-account, uncheck the Is sub-account option so it becomes a parent account.
  4. When you're ready, select Save and then Yes to confirm.

I understand the urgency of sorting out this issue so you’ll be able to open your canceled QBO again. Rest assured, I’ll assist you with this query. 

 

First, we can update your billing information of your QuickBooks Online by following these steps: 

 

  1. Sign in as the Primary or Company Admin.
  2. Go to Settings and select Account and Settings.
  3. From the left menu, click Billing Subscription.
  4. Select Edit ✎ beside your payment method.
  5. Update your credit card info.
  6. Make sure the address in QuickBooks is the same as the one on your credit card statement.
  7. Once everything’s good, select Confirm card or Save.

 

If the issue persists after updating, I recommend performing the steps through a private window. There might be a cache build-up on it that's causing this behavior. To save you time, use either of these keyboard shortcuts:

 

  • Google Chrome: Ctrl + Shift + N
  • Safari 11 or newer: ⌘ + Shift + N
  • Mozilla Firefox: Ctrl + Shift + P
  • Microsoft Edge: Ctrl + Shift + P

 

If it works fine, you can go back to your original browser and clear its cache to start fresh. You can also use another supported and up-to-date browser to narrow down the results.

Did you have the subscription license for QB Desktop 2021 Plus edition? You can utilize the trial license for QB Desktop 2021 to open your file for the time being. Then you may have time to decide whether paying the  renewal of your license or purchasing a new one time license for QB Desktop 2021.
