I get an error message no matter what I do. I am "on the account" but not the account owner yet. It's a church treasury and the responsibility is being transferred to me. But the credit card listed for annual payment belonged to the deceased wife of the individual who is the current account owner. The plan is to transfer it into my name upon renewal, I believe in January. The error message is copied below:

The credit card is mine (name removed) the validation date is now 2/26 instead of 2/21
The credit card does not need to be deleted, only the validation date should be changed to February 2026.
Thanks for the reply, Bob dead!
You can simply edit the payment method. Let me show you.
You can check this link: Change your credit card for payroll billing. The QuickBooks Desktop Payroll section will show you how to update the billing info for your payroll subscription.
Lastly, here's the article on how to review your billing history: See your QuickBooks Desktop billing history.
Keep on posting here if you need more help. Thanks!
I also get a 'Quickbooks subscription expired' notice periodically. I keep trying to delete an old card (no longer in existence) listed in CAMPS but get the error "Something went wrong. Preferred payment method can't be deleted." There are no active subscriptions using this card so I don't know why it won't allow it to be deleted.
Thanks for any assistance.
