I have a new client who is missing all of his Wesbanco banking transactions prior to September 2021. I know that they upgraded their system last August, and I've found a couple of posts about updating their bank feeds, but there don't seem to be any definitive answers. All of the posts are from last August & September, so I'm wondering if there are any updates.
The simplest solution I've seen suggested is to have my client disconnect from his Wesbanco feed, and then re-connect to it. This seems really simple. But other posts suggest downloading information from the bank and re-uploading it, which seems very complicated. I'd like to make this process as painless for both of us as possible.
Any help would be appreciated! I'm hoping that by now, since it's been several months since the Wesbanco update, there is a simple solution available. Thank you so much!
I'll help you make sure that you get the banking transactions in QBO, OHMichele.
I'd also like to ask if there are any error message in the Online Banking section? I can't see any alerts for Wesbanco at the moment.
There are a couple of steps that we recommend when transactions are not downloading in QBO. I'll go through each one of them.
You can start by manually updating the account. This forces QBO to get a connection from your bank and download the missing transactions. Here's how:
Once done, check if new transactions are now showing up. Just in there's an error message, click the link below that corresponds to the error message.
Second, you may also need to disconnect the account and add it again. Check out these articles as your guide:
Lastly, you may need to manually upload a CSV file of your banking transactions. Let me give you this as a reference: Manually Upload Transactions into QuickBooks Online.

Thank you so much! I will check these out and talk to my client tomorrow. :)
