Use more than one vehicle for your business? Now you can track miles and match expenses for each vehicle in QuickBooks Self-Employed, which helps you get the max deduction and keep your books organized for tax season.

If you export your business info to TurboTax, it will use your info to help you choose the best option: the standard mileage deduction or actual expense deductions.

Add vehicles to track

You can add all the vehicles you use for work to track your mileage and expenses.

Assign expenses to vehicles

In addition to tracking your mileage, when you have expenses that are categorized as vehicle transactions (Gas & Fuel, Insurance, etc.), you need to assign them to a specific vehicle.

If you want to assign transactions in bulk:

Get a list of your expenses by vehicle

You may want to see a list of expenses by vehicle to make sure everything is assigned correctly. You can also see a list of transactions that aren't assigned to a vehicle yet.
