Speaking to Someone Live at Green Dot Bank

I am having severe difficulty reaching someone to speak to regarding a problem at Green Dot Bank.  I have tried:

 

1.  the telephone number on the back of the Green Dot Card - The answering system asks me to enter the card number, but when I do, it does not "recognize" the card.

2.  I have tried emailing them and got a response - that they would call me back in a business day.  They called but when I took the call, it was dropped.  This has happened twice.  The are indicating that I am the one dropping the call.  I assure you that I need to speak to them and would not drop the call.

3.  A supervisor was supposed to call me within 48 hours and I have not received a call after 4 days.

4.  I just tried calling the supervisor's telephone number and the voicemail indicated they were not available.

 

Any help you can give me would be greatly appreciated.

I am having issues as well getting somebody to return my phone calls that is a supervisor I've been dealing with this issue for over a week now there is a gross discrepancy on my account and nothing I have done and nobody I have spoken with has been able to resolve it. I'm talking a discrepancy for about $399. This is absolutely unacceptable.

 

2 transactions from Cash App for $100 each taken out that should not have been. (total of $200)

1 credit of $32.84 that was removed.

1 credit of $50 that was removed.

1 deposit of $117.09 that was entered and then reversed.

These are the amounts we just discussed during our call. I am sorry for this inconvenience. Below is your case number from our call, in case you need it. I hope you have an amazing weekend!

This is an Intuit representative that actually took the time to go over everything with me.

When I was transferred to Green dot I got a representative that was incompetent and had no concern for my issue whatsoever.  I was supposed to have a representative call me back 5 different times now And nobody has called me back. My issue still hasn't been resolved either!

One of the Green dot representatives even tried to get my entire card number and my entire social security number for quote unquote verification purposes. I have spoken with about 10 different Green Dot representatives in regards to this issue (none of which have resolved the issue) and not one of them asked me for my entire social security number or my entire card number in order to verify me. This is very concerning to me as it leads me to believe that there is fraudulent activity within Green Dot itself.

Was the issue ever actually resolved? Because I'm really seriously starting to wonder whether or not mine will ever be. I can't believe into it would have such an unscrupulous entity such as Green Dot as their bank. This reflects so poorly on Intuit... So much so that I'm actually reconsidering my entire accounting software system and I've been with QuickBooks since I had to get updates on CD-ROM because the internet was also just starting to become more mainstream I'm talking dial-up days... I'm even QuickBooks certified in all four levels of it! However, due to the blatant disregard for accuracy, transparency, or accountability I am absolutely appalled! I'm reading other reviews on here about $30,000 $25,000 The list goes on and on about multiple consumers facing thousands of dollars worth of damages caused by Green Dot.

Green Dot?  Intuit and Quickbooks I suggest you hold your partners to higher standards.  Green Dot's customer service line is as bad as the client said above.  

 

I called Quickbooks Payments and have now been kicked around 3-4 times. 

 

Again, this is the biggest issue with Quickbooks Customer Service.  Why do they not have a ticket system?  If I was one of their customer support people, I would do the same, the second it gets hard, hang up and then there is no accountability to fix anything.

 

The reason I am calling them is that this is the first time in my career that I have seen an ending balance be a different number than the beginning balance in the next statement.  Therefore, I can not reconcile.  We can't fix a bank statement error.  I have had 7 people look at this at customer service and they are perplexed, and just give up.

 

We need a ticket system, so we do not have to babysit every time we need support.

The solution is to just not use Quickbooks Checking at all and advise all clients to NOT get the account.

 

Look at these 2 statements.

 

I do not know why a checking account does not close at the end of the month like every other bank.

 

The logic escapes me as to why the beginning balance is a different date than the ending balance of the previous month, let alone another day.  Never seen this before and no one could be held accountable for it.

 

The other scam they have with the 5% interest rate I can foresee, is that you have to transfer money into envelopes to get that interest.  I assume many will not ever do this.  I will take it to social media to advise.

Quickbooks' bank account system with Green Dot is a mess. The balance reflected in your Quickbooks Checking account is not the amount that Green Dot has. In my case it's a difference of almost $20,000.

 

Quickbooks explained that 'they're not the bank,' but I can't call the actual bank (Green Dot) because I don't have any credentials to get to a support person.

HI Archie, how can a Quickbooks Checking client contact Green Dot bank?

 

Regarding a discrepancy of at least $20,000 (possible much more), I've been told by Quickbooks that 'we're not the bank,' then gave me a support number for Green Dot that does not allow me to talk to anyone there (I don't have the proper 16 digit card number, which apparently is not the Quickbooks debit card number. I can't use this Quickbooks checking account if I can't see what the balance actually is.

Green Dot will not even answer the call, because they require a 16-digit card number that is different than the Quickbooks Checking account number. So there's no chance to even speak with anyone.

 

Why are the amounts different? Quickbooks Checking represents that a certain balance exists, so it's frustrating when this is completely different than what Green Dot has in their account, which cannot be accessed.

 

There must be some way to access the Green Dot actual balance.

Quickbooks seems great, until you have a problem. Then it's a nightmare with very little support.

 

I would advise any company considering this setup with Quickbooks Checking and Payroll to proceed with caution. We are very much looking for alternatives after we get through this.

 

Basically, I have been attempting to troubleshoot the issue with the Quickbooks Checking team to make payroll, even though ample funds are clearly showing in the account. They think they have a fix, but who knows.

 

Separately, a completely different Quickbooks department is spamming me with endless emails demanding I fund the account or face collections. They are refusing to allow payroll even though the account is clearly funded.
