Add notes to a customer profile (iPhone, iPad)

Learn how to add notes and images using the QuickBooks Online mobile app.

For record-keeping purposes you can add notes and photos to your customers' profiles. And you can do it from the QuickBooks Online mobile app on your iPhone or iPad. In this article we'll show you how.

iPhone: Update your customer's profile

You can add notes and photos using QuickBooks Online for the iPhone.

1. 1. Select the hamburger (☰) icon.
   2. Select the Plus icon (+) next to Notes & Attachments.
   3. Select Assign To. Then select the customer to assign this note to.
   4. Write the note text.
   5. If you want to add a photo or image, select the camera.
   6. Select either Take Photo or Choose Existing to choose one from your Photo Library. If you took a photo, select either Retake or Use Photo.
   7. If you are choosing an existing photo, browse to it. Then select Choose.
   8. Select Save.

iPad: Update your customer's profile

You can add notes and photos using QuickBooks Online for the iPad.

1. Select the hamburger (☰) icon.
2. Select Choose a Customer. Then select the customer to assign this note to.
3. Write the note text.
4. Select either Take Photo or Choose Photo to choose one from your Photo Library.
5. If you are choosing an existing photo, browse to it, and select Use.
6. Select Save.
