System requirements for QuickBooks Desktop 2023

Are you using Windows 8.1?

Microsoft will no longer provide security updates or support for PCs running Windows 8.1 after Jan 10, 2023. For this reason, QuickBooks 2023 won't support Windows 8.1 and can’t be installed on it.

QuickBooks Desktop 2023 requires an internet connection at least once every 14 days. This lets QuickBooks Pro Plus, Premier Plus, Premier Accountant or Enterprise subscriptions sync license information. QuickBooks will use your default browser.
