Manage your account information using the Merchant Service Center

Changing your User ID, account email, password, and security question in Merchant Service Center affects your credentials for other Intuit products like QuickBooks Payroll, TurboTax, QuickBooks Desktop, and QuickBooks Online. Intuit has Implemented Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) across all our products to protect your account and ensure only you have access to your data. As part of this, you will be prompted to use a one-time confirmation code when you sign-in or make significant changes to your account information (email, password, and user ID). Note: If you are having issues accessing or using the features in Merchant Service Center, ensure you are using Internet Explorer and it is configured accordingly.

Edit account information and password

  1. Sign in to the Merchant Service Center.
  2. From the Account menu, select Login & Merchant Accounts.
  3. Select Change your User ID, Email, Password and Security Question
  4. On the Profile tab, edit your account information as necessary.Note: The User ID is typically the email address.User-added image
  5. On the Security tab, edit your password as necessary, then select Save.

Change Deposit Account Information

  1. Sign in to the Merchant Service Center.
  2. From the Account menu, select Account Profile.
  3. Select Edit from the Deposit Account Information section.
  4. Choose where you want to receive the confirmation code and select Get Confirmation Code.
  5. Enter your six-digit confirmation code and select Continue.
  6. Edit your bank information.
