Hello QuickBooks Community,
This is my first time posting here so please bear with me if I made any mistakes.
I took and passed my QuickBooks ProAdvisor Certification and Advanced Certification in the Company I am working right now. I want to establish my own Company and created a new QuickBooks account.
Here is the question, do I need to take the Exam to get certified again or is there a way to use my certification in my Company. I am working as a part timer.

The thing is, I am still employed in the Company and working as a Part Timer. I still need my QuickBooks ProAdvisor Badge in the company that I am working.
So if I transfer my ProAdvisor Badge to my new QuickBooks, do I still have my QuickBooks ProAdvisor Badge in my old QuickBooks?

Hello ChristineJoieR,
I took the QBO Payroll exam and passed five out of six sections.
When I logged in yesterday to complete the final section, it was no longer available.
It appears that I will have to start over. I thought I had a year to complete it.
Can anyone verify this? Knowing how much time I had to complete the certification would have been helpful.
When I asked about the time frame earlier this year, I was told I had a year to complete it.
If I had known it would expire in November, I may have been able to complete the last section.
I contacted the ProAdvisor help desk, but they weren't able to help me.
Also, I completed the feedback form and received a response directing me to QBO help.
I would appreciate any assistance you can provide.
Thank you
Hello, @AnneB8.
I'll share some information about QuickBooks Online certification.
Every year, we update the QuickBooks Online certification course.
When we update the QuickBooks Online certification course, the new version completely replaces the previous one, unlike the QuickBooks Desktop certification course. When the new version is released, all the incomplete work you had done on the prior one will be gone.
We'll email you in advance if a new version is about to be released while you are still taking a certification exam.
You can check for the Frequently Asked Questions about ProAdvisor training and certification to learn more about it.
Know that you're always welcome to post a reply in this thread if you have any other questions about QuickBooks Online certification. I'll be here ready to assist you.

Hi CharleneMae,
It appears that I will have to start over.
While my training history shows that I accessed the training materials, there is no record of my completed exams, and QBO support was unable to restore them.
Thank you so much for all your help.

I just want to ask that I finished the 4sets of exam on my account and passed all the sets of exams. After I finished it, when I go to menu and generate the certificate, I can’t view anything. What does this mean?

Hi, I just want to ask. I completed my Level 1 Certification through the course-level exam on November 30, 2024, and passed all 5 course exams. I also received the 5 CPE credit certificates in my registered email. However, when I checked in the "My History" tab, it says there's no certification earned. I can only view my completed courses and download the CPE credits up to now. Could you please clarify what this means? Thank you.
The Community is here to help you access the training courses marked with CPE credits in the Certification History tab in your Proadvisor account, Iamlanie.
We appreciate you verifying you received CPE credit certificates in your registered email. To better isolate the issue, we can perform some troubleshooting steps to see if the issue is within your browser when accessing the History tab. We can open a private or incognito window in the browser to open your account with a clean slate and load fresh data. Here's how:
Once done, access your Certification History again. To learn more about earning Continuing Professional Education (CPE) credits through QuickBooks Online Accountant training, check out this article: Get CPE credits for ProAdvisor training courses.
If it works, go back to your regular browser and clear the cache to delete those temporarily stored files and browsing history. The overtime data collection can create corruption, and we can remove this will fix the issue. You can also use supported, up-to-date browsers to rule out the possibility of a browser-related issue.
