Unlike a PEO, Intuit Expert Workforce doesn't require co-employment and isn't limited by a PEO's benefit plans or HR policies. Intuit Expert Workforce is an add-on available with QuickBooks Online Payroll Premium and Elite. If you're on Core, you'll need to upgrade to Premium or Elite first.

Intuit Expert Workforce doesn't include acting as your employer of record, obtaining state tax IDs on your behalf, I-9 verification, or HR services beyond what's needed to run payroll (like recruiting or performance management). We'll point you to the right resource for any of these.
