An international study of employee attitudes to workplace monitoring
As GPS tracking becomes more widespread in workplaces around the world, how many employees are being tracked and what do they think about it?
This global study, commissioned by QuickBooks Time, seeks to answer these and other important questions about GPS tracking in the workplace. The study involved 2,500 employees. It reveals when they are tracked, how their employers are using the technology, and whether these employees have different views to workers who have not been tracked by GPS. Participants also reveal their GPS tracking habits outside of the workplace and what makes them trust an app enough to “Enable Location Services.”
