So with this Self-Employed Turbo Tax Bundle you can import your data into turbo tax and you get to file your taxes at the end of year for free? The turbo tax self employed bundle on their website costs like $150 so I’m wondering if with this bundle, I can file all the necessary forms and get a refund for free? Isn’t that what this bundle says?
Let me share some insight about how Self-Employed + TurboTax Bundle works, @exzolux.
The Tax Bundle is a subscription for both QuickBooks Self-Employed and TurboTax Self-Employed. This gives you an easy way to send your Schedule C data to TurboTax so you can file your taxes.
Moreover, a bundle subscription will waive the federal filing fees, plus one state return. For this to work, make sure to use the same username and password as you log in to both your QuickBooks Self-Employed and TurboTax Self-Employed accounts.
For more information about the QuickBooks Self-Employed + TurboTax Bundle, you can visit this article: QuickBooksTax Bundle and how to upgrade.

So I won’t have to pay $150 on turbo tax to do my self employed taxes at the end? Is that what this bundle includes? Let’s say I pay for it each month, I’ll have a free filing (annual return) each year? I’ll be able to easily file my taxes with this bundle?
So let’s say I pay for this bundle every month, I’ll have a free filing each year that I’m paying for it? I’ll be able to File my taxes (annual return) for free and easily with this bundle?
You're right, exzolux!
With the Self-Employed Turbo Tax Bundle you don't have to pay for annual filing in TurboTax. It comes for free with the subscription.

I am about to seek a refund on this bundle. I must have made an error in my first attempt to do my taxes. I have been on teh phone all morning and no assistance. The problem may be that in the past i filed with my now ex husband. I put his name first on returns because he was the main bread winner.
Now I can't access. I can't do anything with the synching portion of this program. I feel I have wasted money and so much time.
Is there a person with your company who can fix this issue/
We don't want you to feel this way, @marykliv.
I can help you get back on track about managing your account and taxes in QuickBooks Self-Employed (QBSE).
If you're referring to your account that can't be accessed anymore, you can click on the hyperlinked message "I forgot my user ID or Password" to recover it. But if you're referring to your QBSE account and Turbo Tax that isn't synced, you'll need to check if the sign-in information is the same.
I also added this article to know more about the other workarounds available in retrieving your account in QBSE: Get help if you can't sign in to your account.
Furthermore, you can review this article: Send your info to TurboTax. You can see the things we can do if the two accounts have different credentials in that article.
Since you've mentioned on about getting a refund using the Tax bundle subscription, let me route you directly to our QuickBooks Care team. They can check your account and process a refund immediately once verified. Please check the support hours before contacting them so that you'll be assisted right away or you can also choose the Request callback option.

I have a question, I my wife and I have been using turbo tax for several years now to fill our taxes, now that I am self-employed, can I use this bundle to file my self-employed taxes as well as entering my wife tax info so we can still file jointly? Or are we going to have to file separately? I currently have a turbo tax login .
I can share some information about having our bundle subscription, @perrysrenovation.
You can file jointly if you only need one schedule C and submit one 1040-ES form.
A QuickBooks Self-Employed account can only generate one schedule C and submit one 1040-ES form. In your Tax Profile, you can set it as married and filing jointly.
Here's how to update your tax profile:
See this article for more information: Review your tax profile in QuickBooks Self-Employed.
If you subscribe to our Tax bundle, you can make online payment for federal estimated quarterly taxes. Also, e-file one state and one federal return without filing fees.
Also, you can only sync your existing TurboTax Self-Employed and QuickBooks Self-Employed account if you use same log-in credentials for both accounts.

Before exporting your tax information from QuickBooks Self-Employed to TurboTax, ensure that both accounts are connected for it to work. Make sure also to review the information before you send them to TurboTax.

Hello,
I filed for 2019 using Turbo Tax Self-employed and received free subscription to Quickbooks Self-employed which expired the 1st of 2021. Wasn't this subscription suppose last til April 2021?
I've got you covered, @portillosc.
You will automatically have a free QuickBooks Self-Employed subscription for a year, once you use TurboTax Self-Employed in filing your taxes. The subscription lasts until April 30 of the next tax year. For more info, see this article: Subscription of QuickBooks Self-Employed. To verify your subscription details, I suggest reaching out to our live support team. They have tools to check your account and give more info about your subscription.
Follow these steps to connect with them:
Also, I've added this helpful article that will provide answers from FAQs when using QuickBooks Self-Employed. Please head to the QuickBooks Self-Employed Overview page.
Feel free to get back here if you have further QuickBooks concerns. I'm always here to help you. Have a good one.
I am totally locked out of my account as of today. It does not even give me the option to talk to an assistant or view my billing subscription. It says my subscription expired back in July, but I never received notifications in my Quickbooks or email ever (then or yesterday) before my account was locked. I also thought I had the free account until April 2021.
Let's manage your account and review everything, madisonljackson.
When your subscription is about to expire, the system will send you a notification a head of time. This is to make sure that you have an updated billing information. There's a possibility that the email message was routed to your Spam folder or the email address you're using is different.
Meanwhile, we can use the QBSE Test Drive so you can contact our Customer Care Team. Then, you can follow the steps in this article to reach them out: Contact QuickBooks Self-Employed Support.
Once you have contacted our representatives, they should be able to pull up your account. From there, we can reset the account and update the billing information within the system. Or you can update it yourself using this link: Update your billing and subscription info in QuickBooks Self-Employed.
Keep us posted about this so we can further assist you in managing your account.
You realize we can't log in, so we can't contact support, right? Please fix this bug. All of us Self-Employed users are locked out.
I'll add a few more details, Pat-yan.
You can log in using the test drive my colleague shared. From there, you can reach out to our customer care support.
Just a friendly reminder, though. Please take note of our support hours so you can get a hold of a live agent.
The Community is available 24/7 if you have other concerns. Keep safe!
Yes, please fix it ASAP!!! I am also not able to log in as of today and the chat feature is useless.
Thanks for taking the time to reach out, @KimG316.
This is a known issue at this time. Our engineers are investigating why the status of your subscription has changed. As a workaround, if you reach out to support and reference Investigation 53434, they will attach a discount so you can continue working in your account until this issue is addressed. My colleague @JamesDuanT outlined the steps you will want to take above to use the QBSE Test-Drive so you can contact our Customer Care Team. Then, you can follow the steps in this article to reach them out: Contact QuickBooks Self-Employed Support.
Please reach back out if you've additional concerns on this issue, I'm happy to help. Take care!
Good morning everyone! Thank you again for your continued patience while we work on the fix for your accounts. The engineering team confirmed the fix last night and is currently rolling it out to all impacted users as we speak, so if you aren't already, you'll be back up and running very soon!
No need to contact support at this time. If you were impacted, the fix will automatically apply to you.
I'll swing back here to let everyone know as soon as this is complete for everyone.
Hello all! Great news! All impacted accounts have been restored and you should be able to login to QuickBooks Self Employed as normal.
Please let me know if you still experience any difficulties accessing your account and I'll be happy to look into it ASAP.
Firstly - I would like to be clear about this promotion because I'm currently shopping your QBSE + TTSE bundle due to a new independent contracting job my wife snagged near the end of 2020. If we file using TTSE for the year 2020, we will have access to QBSE until April of 2022? If that's so, what are the differences between paying monthly for the bundle vs just paying to file using TTSE? Also, does this promo have an upcoming end date?
Secondly - Does this only work with TTSE online and not TTH&B disc version?
Thanks for following this thread, DietzX5.
I’m happy to know you’re considering using the bundle program. Let me share some insights about the promotion.
If you’re a new Turbo Tax customer and don’t have a QBSE account, you’ll be given 30 days free trial to use the self-employed program. While those who have an existing QBSE account, the one-year free filing with Turbo Tax is no longer available.
Since TTH&B disc is another program, I suggest posting this question to the Turbo Tax forum. One of their support agents can provide information if it works with the bundle.
For additional resources, check out these articles.
Keep me posted below if you have any other concerns. Please know I’m always ready to answer them for you. Wishing you and your business continued success.
