Error message: You cannot print directly to the PDF Converter

The QuickBooks PDF Converter is a feature that installs with QuickBooks Desktop. It doesn't work with QuickBooks Online. If you select it instead of an actual printer when printing reports from QuickBooks Online, you'll see the following error:

You cannot print directly to the QuickBooks PDF Converter. Choose file and save as PDF instead.

If you need to save a copy of a QuickBooks Online report to your hard drive, you can export the report to Excel using the Excel button at the top of each report.
