QuickBooks Payments fees: Credit card processing and transaction rates

Great news! You can process and authorize all major debit and credit card transactions directly in QuickBooks Online. Payment information is automatically updated so you never have to enter data twice.

Transaction rates for QuickBooks Payments
QuickBooks offers competitive transaction rates compared to other providers like Square and Stripe. All listed rates are accurate as of April 30, 2024, and are applied per transaction.

Important pricing considerations
- Invoice Fees: Stripe may charge an additional 0.4% to 0.5% fee per paid invoice depending on your plan.
- Wallet Restrictions: Square and Stripe rates for digital wallets do not include PayPal or Venmo.
- Plan Comparability: Only the most comparable payment plans by feature are highlighted in this chart.
Benefits of using QuickBooks Payments
- Get paid faster: Approved funds can be deposited into your account in as little as two to three business days (clearance time may vary depending on your deposit account).
- Automate payments: Set up recurring sales receipts to collect payments automatically (not available in QuickBooks Online Simple Start).

- Integrated bookkeeping: Transactions are automatically entered into your QuickBooks Online company file, eliminating manual data entry.
Note: QuickBooks Online doesn't currently integrate with a shopping cart.
