Use the Centralized Audit Log in Intuit Accountant Suite

The Centralized Audit Log in Intuit Accountant Suite gives your firm a single dashboard to track workflows and manage staff productivity across your entire client portfolio—without needing to toggle between individual client files.
Access the centralized audit log
- In your Firm Books, select the Gear icon.
- Select Audit Log.
- At the top of the log, you will see two tabs: Client Audit Logs and Firm Audit Logs.
Filter and view client audit activities
- Select the Client Audit Logs tab.
- Select the Clients dropdown menu to choose specific clients and build a consolidated list of activity.
- Select the Date changed and Events dropdowns to narrow down the list further.
Filter activity by a specific user
You can filter the audit log to review the specific actions taken by an individual user within a client's file.
- Select the Client Audit Logs tab.
- Select the Clients dropdown menu and choose only one specific client.
- A new Client Users dropdown menu will appear.
- Select the Client Users dropdown to filter the log and review activity for a specific user.
| Note When you select View next to an event to see the details, the audit details page will still show the full historical changes for that transaction. This history is not restricted to just the selected user; it provides the complete picture of all prior changes made to that transaction. |
