Final reviews in Books Close
Access final reviews in Books Close to review client reports for a selected close period. This helps you quickly analyze essential financial data and ensure your client's books are accurate.
Final review allows you to see all of your client reports in one place in Intuit Accountant Suite. In this video, we'll show you how to find the following reports, and more: Profit and loss statement Balance sheet Accounts Payable Aging Report Accounts Receivable Aging Report

[0:00] This is Katheryn from the QuickBooks Team. Books Close is a feature in Intuit Accountant Suite that helps you track and complete your monthly close process for clients in one place. In this video, you'll see how to review client reports using Final review. Start on the File review page for a selected client and period. Scroll to the bottom of the page and select Final review.
[0:27] In this section, you can access key reports for the selected period. These include the profit and loss, balance sheet, accounts payable aging, and accounts receivable aging reports. Select Review to open a report. The report opens inside your Intuit Accountant Suite without switching you to your client's books.
[0:48] Here, you are able to update the report period, change the accounting method, make comparisons, and more, all within Intuit Accountant Suite. When you're finished reviewing the report, select the X to return to the File review page. To access additional options, hover over a report, and select the dropdown arrow next to Review.
[1:10] Select Go to QuickBooks to open the report in the client's QuickBooks account. Now you know how to review client reports using final review in Books Close.
Prerequisites
To access final review items, your firm must have added Books Close to Intuit Accountant Suite Core or Accelerate.
Access final reviews
Go to All Apps
, then Books Close, then Overview (Take me there).
From Intuit Accountant Suite, select Work and choose Books close.
Scroll to the line for the client and close period you want to access, and select Open from the Action column.
Scroll to Final review and select it to expand the section. You’ll see a listing of key reports such as Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, Accounts Payable Aging, and Accounts Receivable Aging.
Select Review to open a report.
The report opens inside Intuit Accountant Suite. Within the report, you can change the report period or accounting method, make comparisons, and more.
When you’re finished reviewing the report, select X to close it.
To open the report in your client’s QuickBook account for additional options, select
next to Review.
