Learn how to enter your PIN for New York Department of Taxation and Finance for electronic payment services in Intuit QuickBooks Workforce.

PrompTax is the New York State Department of Taxation's electronic filing and payment program that's mandatory for certain businesses. The NY Tax Department notifies you by mail if you're required to participate.

QuickBooks doesn't require the PromptTax PIN.

If you would like to enter your PIN in your payroll account:

Obtain your 6-digit access PIN from the NYS Department of Taxation.
Go to All apps , then Payroll, then Overview (Take me there).
Select Payroll then choose Overview.
Select the verification item on your To Do List and enter the PIN.
