Change or mute your sounds in QuickBooks Time

If your administrator has installed sounds to play when you clock in, switch jobs or customers, or clock out on a computer, you can change or mute them by doing the following:

  1. In the upper right corner of QuickBooks Time (on a computer), click your name, and click the sounds icon (Sounds).
  2. Do one of the following:
    • To mute all sounds, click the Mute sounds checkbox.
    • To change the sounds, click the drop-downs to make selections. To hear the sound, click the right arrow button.
  3. In the upper right corner, click the X to close the window.
