Intuit Accountant Suite is designed to scale with your firm. You can choose the tier that best fits your needs. 

Intuit Accountant Suite Core

Intuit Accountant Suite Core is the tier that includes all of your functionality from your previous QuickBooks Online Accountant experience plus more at no additional cost. Core includes the following modernized, faster infrastructure: 

• Everything in QuickBooks Online Accountant
• Requests: Centralizes communications with clients to strengthen relationships for ongoing service delivery. Now will include handoff all within Intuit Intelligence chat - AI chat to the attached accountants so you can provide clients support when your expertise is needed.
• Tax prep powered by Intuit ProConnect Tax: Accounting and tax integration with customizable workflows for assigning, tracking, and completing tasks.
  Customizable home dashboard: A personalized daily hub surfacing tasks, disconnected bank feeds, and alerts.
• Customer Hub (CRM): Track leads, automate follow-ups, and manage client communications in one place.
• Intuit Intelligence chat: Chat to get answers, gain personalized insights, and even delegate complex tasks directly within the platform. Personalized AI-powered insights on your clients and firm in context with 200 prompts/month. 

Intuit Accountant Suite Accelerate 

Intuit Accountant Suite Accelerate is a paid tier that includes everything in Core, plus advanced tools for complex, growing firms. 

• Client insights: Comprehensive KPI tracking to monitor financial KPIs, payroll, tax, and AP/bill pay data across all your clients at once with this portfolio view. Customizable dashboards with client groups to segment your clients based on any criteria you define from industry to service tier.
• User groups: Assign users role-based access controls to clients in bulk with user groups.
• AI-powered anomaly detection: Automatically find and resolve discrepancies with you in control.
• Cross-client comparisons (Coming soon): Ask questions comparing clients across your portfolio to get deep advisory insights
• Intuit Intelligence chat: Chat to get answers, gain personalized insights, and even delegate complex tasks directly within the platform. Personalized AI-powered insights on your clients and firm in context with 1,000 prompts/month. 

Note: Accelerate is available at no cost during the beta period through June 30, 2026. Billing for paid plans begins July 1, 2026.

Intuit Accountant Suite Books Close

Books Close is a separate premium add-in that standardizes the month-end close process across all your clients. Your firm can add this feature to either Core or Accelerate.

Work smarter with Intuit Intelligence

Intuit Accountant Suite now includes AI-powered chat and anomaly detection with more coming soon through  Intuit Intelligence. Select [Intuit Intelligence icon image]  to open the companion panel and access Intuit Intelligence. Request a summary of anomalies, investigate financial trends, or generate an email draft to a client without leaving your current workflow.

We’ve redesigned the Intuit Accountant Suite menus to better separate your firm's operations from your client work.

Primary navigation

Move around Intuit Accountant Suite using the primary options on the left-side navigation menu.

• Create: Find quick actions such as creating customers, invoices, or bills,.
• Bookmarks: Add, edit, or sort your list of bookmarked pages for quick access.
• Home: Your centralized homepage offering a high-level view of your firm, including customizable widgets and alerts.
• Clients: Manage your client base and subscriptions.

• Work: Your central hub for service delivery and portfolio tracking.
  • Client insights
    • With Intuit Accountant Suite Core, you will navigate here to access standard KPIs that you previously got in QuickBooks Online Accountant namely broken bank connections, unposted transactions, and last close date across clients.
    • For Intuit Accountant Suite Accelerate, you will unlock the value of Client Insights and get an AI-powered client overview using customizable views and segments to surface the right insights and key benchmarks.
  • Books close, the paid add on primary admins can activate to close books faster and more consistently, tracking every month-end close from one centralized location.

Top navigation

You’ll find other essential tools across the top of the Intuit Accountant Suite window.

• Global header bar: The bar across the top of your screen lets you see whether you’re working in your firm’s books or a client’s books. If the global header bar is green, you’re working inside your firm's books. 
• Jump into client books: Find and sign in to any of your client's books quickly by selecting the dropdown list next to your firm's name.
• Search: Use the search bar to find data like transactions, contacts, reports, and help topics.
• Tasks : Create new tasks for yourself or your team members, or manage existing tasks all in one quick place.
• Workflow automation: View workflow automation templates, or create new workflows to make managing your firm's operations smoother.
• Integrations : See and manage your firm and clients applications and integrations all in one menu.
• Intuit Intelligence: Your place to ask questions about your firm or clients without having to switch views.
• Settings: See everything regarding your firm's settings, lists, and tools.

Can I switch back to my previous QuickBooks Online Accountant experience?

Yes, if the time isn't right, your firm can switch back to QuickBooks Online Accountant. Your firm can rejoin Intuit Accountant Suite at any time. The primary admin of your Intuit Accountant Suite account is the only one who can perform these actions. We encourage you to take a quick tour to see firsthand the new benefits this experience offers. All of your data and settings will be retained. None of your data is moving, migrating, or changing.

Note: While you can switch back to QuickBooks Online Accountantat any time, once you’ve consolidated multiple accounts in Intuit Accountant Suite, you can’t separate them if you return to QuickBooks Online Accountant.

To switch back to the previous QuickBooks Online Accountant experience:

1. Go to Settings .
2. Select the Opt out button.

To switch to the new Intuit Accountant Suite experience:

1. Go to Settings .
2. Select the Join button.
3. Fill out the required fields, then select Join.
