How document sharing works

With document sharing, you can send digital paperwork directly to your team members' profiles. Once documents are started, the step order and fields for those document instances are fixed. To change them, update and resend the document. The old version will be archived automatically.

Send a document to a single employee

You can send specific paperwork to a single team member from their profile.

  1. Go to All apps A bunch of numbers and letters on a tile wall., then Team, then Employees (Take me there).
  2. Choose the specific employee you want to reach.
  3. Select the Documents tab.
  4. Select Add Documents.
  5. Choose one of the following options:
    • Select one or more documents to send.
    • Select Upload to attach a document that is already completed.
  6. Review the document preview, and fill in any required fields.
  7. Select Start Document to send it to the employee.

Send documents in bulk to multiple employees

Use bulk actions to distribute a document to several team members simultaneously.

  1. Go to All apps A bunch of numbers and letters on a tile wall., then Team, then Employees (Take me there).
  2. Find the document you want to distribute, and select View.
  3. Select Send to…, and then Select team members.
  4. Choose the team member(s) who should receive the document.
  5. Select Select team members.
  6. Complete any required fields for the document.
  • Note: Information entered in these fields applies to documents for all selected team members.
  1. Select Finish to start all documents for the group.
