Get paid faster with next-day deposits

Learn how to upgrade to next-day deposits to get customer payments into your bank account faster

Quickbooks Online users who use QuickBooks Payments are signed up for next-day deposits for credit card payments. Generally, you don't need to do anything. Since May 2019, most new Quickbooks Payments customers also automatically get next-day deposits for ACH bank transfers*.

If you set up your Quickbooks Payments account before May 2019, we're working to move you over to this faster funding experience. If you haven't upgraded to next-day deposits yet, here's how to check if you're eligible and upgrade.

Note: Once you upgrade to next-day deposits, you can't change back to your previous plan.

QuickBooks charges 1% of the total deposit up to $10 to process each ACH payment. We debit your bank account the same day we deposit payments into it.

There are no additional fees for next-day credit card deposits besides the normal transaction fees. Learn more about QuickBooks Payments fees.

Upgrade to get next-day deposits

  1. In QuickBooks Online, go to Settings ⚙ and select Account and Settings.
  2. Select the Payments tab.
  3. If you’re eligible for next-day deposits, select Upgrade in the Deposit Speed section. Note: Eligibility is determined by various factors, such as processing activity and history.
  4. Follow the onscreen steps to upgrade.

You'll get a confirmation email from us when you're ready to start getting next-day deposits.
