When you're accountant has your file:
Hold off on installing any QuickBooks updates until you get your file back.
Try not to enter anything new while your accountant has your file. This way you don't lose any records when you get your file back.
How to round-trip

If you run in to any issues when you restore your file, have your accountant send you the file again. This can resolve most issues.
