If you've received an email notification indicating your backup failed with the error below, this simply means you canceled the backup process before it could complete:
Error # 2229
Depending on the amount of data you selected to back up, it may take some time for your initial backup to complete. Your first backup will always take longer than any subsequent backups. We recommend you simply let the backup process run to completion.
To resolve this error, you just need to manually start the backup process. See Set up Intuit Data Protect (IDP) to back up files for detailed steps to back up using Intuit Data Protect.
