The amount of time you have to import data from a QuickBooks Desktop company file into a QuickBooks Online company file varies. It depends on who set up the QuickBooks Online company file.

If you set up your own QuickBooks Online company

Did you set up your company file in QuickBooks Online? If so, you have 60 days to import your QuickBooks Desktop data into QuickBooks Online.

If you're an accountant who set up QuickBooks Online for a client
