Manage job postings in QuickBooks Online Payroll Premium and Elite

You can update, remove, or close job postings in QuickBooks Online Payroll Premium and Elite. Managing your active postings allows you to keep your recruitment pipeline current and accurate.
Why manage your job posting status?
Changing the status of a job posting helps you track where you are in the hiring process for specific roles. You can shift a posting from active to closed once you have found the right candidate or no longer need to fill the position.
Change a job posting status
Follow these steps to update the status of an existing job posting:
- Go to All apps
, then Team, then Recruiting (Take me there). - Select your job posting.Â
- Select a candidate.
- From Actions, select Change status.
- Select the appropriate status.
- Choose any additional actions, then select Save.
Edit a job posting
You can make changes to the details of a job posting as long as no one has applied for the position yet.
- Go to All apps
, then Team, then Recruiting (Take me there). - Fnd your job posting. From Actions, select Edit.
- Note: Once a candidate has applied for the position, you can no longer edit job posting details.
- Make applicable changes before selecting Publish changes.
Delete job posting
Use the delete function to permanently remove a posting from your records.
- Go to All apps
, then Team, then Recruiting (Take me there). - Find your job posting. From Actions, select Delete.
- Select any additional actions, then select Delete job.
- Important: Deleted jobs cannot be undone.
Change recruiting settings
Adjust your hiring stages or company information to customize your overall recruiting experience.
- Go to All apps
, then Team, then Recruiting (Take me there). - From Actions select Recruiting settings.
- Select Edit next to Job posting info or Hiring pipeline.
- Hiring pipeline: Customize your hiring stages and add automated actions for each step.Â
- Job posting info: Manage your privacy policy, company logo and contact information.Â
