Intuit Intelligence combines artificial intelligence (AI) and business intelligence (BI) to give answers and automate financial tasks in QuickBooks. We use your company data to give custom insights and help with your business goals without manual entry.

Note: At this time, this is available for QuickBooks Online and Intuit Accountant Suite only. If you're an Intuit Enterprise Suite customer with a single entity business, you can sign up for early access.

QuickBooks has QuickBooks built in, unlike other AI tools. We connect your accounting, payments, and payroll data to provide an overview of your business.

  • AI learns your workflow, answers specific questions, and performs multi-step tasks.
  • BI connects data points across your business to show patterns, trends, and future forecasts.

Because we use your real-time company data, you don't need to add files or write complex prompts to get personalized help.

Each eligible QuickBooks plan includes 25 Intuit Intelligence chat prompts per month.

Once used up, it stops, then it resets when the next billing cycle starts.

You can buy more prompts through the Intuit Intelligence chat add-on.

  • QuickBooks: Select Add more prompts when the message appears after you reach your limit.
  • Online purchase page: Visit the Intuit Intelligence chat Add-on page.

These are available immediately and renew monthly with your subscription.

  1. Go to Settings Settings gear icon. , then select Subscriptions and billing.
  2. Select Cancel, then follow the steps.

Note: It remains active until the end of your current billing cycle.

  • Conversational experience: Access a back-and-forth chat with history, source links, and memory in both full-page and companion views.
  • File analysis: Use the chat interface to retrieve info, summarize, or analyze files.
  • Business intelligence: Ask data-related questions about specific key performance indicators (KPIs) and reports through contextual access points.
  • Conversational search: Retrieve filtered data and find specific lists of transactional records or entities.
  • Business brainstorming: Use a strategic sounding board to get new ideas, solve complex problems, and innovate, based on your business data.

Important: At this time, this is only available to primary and company admins.

  • Select Intuit Intelligence A blue and white computer keyboard with a blue background. to open the assistant.
  • Select Close Image of the clear icon. on the assistant window to close. It remains closed for the rest of your session.

In the Intuit Intelligence window, select full screen to see your chat history. Find your past chats under the Recent Image of the recent chat history icon. tab.

Select thumbs up A square shaped object with a black arrow. or thumbs down A black square shaped object with a white arrow. to tell us how Intuit Intelligence did. This helps it learn and get better.
