Introducing Intuit Intelligence

Intuit Intelligence combines artificial intelligence (AI) and business intelligence (BI) to provide instant answers and automate financial tasks in QuickBooks. We use your company data to deliver custom insights and help you act on your business goals without manual data entry.

Note: This experience is currently available for QuickBooks Online and Intuit Accountant Suite only. If you're an Intuit Enterprise Suite customer with a single entity business, learn how you can sign up for early access.

How Intuit Intelligence works

Unlike general AI tools, Intuit Intelligence is built directly into QuickBooks. We connect your accounting, payments, and payroll data to provide a complete view of your business.

• Artificial Intelligence (AI) learns your workflow, answers specific questions, and performs multi-step tasks. 
• Business Intelligence (BI) connects data points across your business to show patterns, trends, and future forecasts.

Because we use your real-time company data, you don't need to upload files or write complex prompts to get personalized help.

Manage Intelligence Chat prompts

Each eligible QuickBooks plan includes 25 Intelligence Chat prompts per month.

Once you use all 25 prompts, Intelligence Chat stops until the next billing cycle starts. Then, your prompts will reset automatically.

Purchase additional prompts

You can buy more prompts through the Intelligence Chat add-on in two ways:

• In QuickBooks - Select Add more prompts when the message appears after you reach your monthly limit.
• Online purchase page: Visit the Intuit Intelligence Chat Add-on page.

Additional queries are available immediately and renew monthly with your subscription.

Cancel your prompt subscription

1. Go to Settings , then Subscriptions and billing.
2. Select Cancel and follow the steps to cancel your subscription.

The add-on will remain active until the end of your current billing cycle.

Key features and capabilities

You can access Intuit Intelligence through the chat box inside QuickBooks to perform the following:

• Conversational Experience: Access a back-and-forth chat with conversation history, source links, and memory in both full-page and companion views.
• File Analysis: Use the conversation interface to retrieve information, summarize, or analyze files you have uploaded.
• Business Intelligence: Ask data-related questions about specific KPIs and reports through contextual access points.
• Conversational Search: Retrieve filtered data and surface specific lists of transactional records or entities.
• Business Brainstorming: Use the strategic sounding board to explore new ideas, solve complex problems, and innovate, grounded in your business data.

Manage the companion view

Intuit Intelligence includes a companion view that helps you work.

• If you don't need help, close the sidebar. The system will respect your choice and remain closed for the rest of your session to avoid distractions.
• To open the assistant at any time, select Intuit Intelligence from your navigation menu.

Provide feedback

After you use Intuit Intelligence to get an answer or finish a task, tell us how well it did with the thumbs up or thumbs down buttons. This feedback helps it learn your preferences and get better.
