Learn how to edit your invoice and invoice payment using the QuickBooks Online app.

Track your invoice status
Use the app to view invoice statuses at a glance and track which ones remain open, paid, or overdue.
Note:
- Processed payments: For payments that have already been processed, use QuickBooks Online on the web to make any changes.
- Restricted edits: The mobile app doesn’t allow changes to transaction amounts.
- CIS invoices: The mobile app doesn’t support CIS invoices.
Edit or delete your invoice
You can edit invoice details including the customer name, reference number, or memo.
Tip: To update your charge amounts, use QuickBooks Online on the web.
Edit or delete invoice payments or sales receipts
Update fields like date, reference number, and memo when you edit your invoice payments and sales receipts. You can also delete your invoice payments when needed. The steps may differ slightly depending on your device.
Note: For processed payments, you can edit fields that affect the charge amount using QuickBooks Online on the web.
