Check your firm's ProAdvisor certification status and projected tier

If you're still using QuickBooks Online Accountant, update to Intuit Accountant Suite (IAS) before you follow the steps in this article. Your Primary admin or Company admin can make this update by selecting the Settings ⚙, then select Try Intuit Accountant Suite when signed into the account.

Track your team's certifications during the Intuit ProPartner Accountants transition. Doing so helps you understand and secure your firm's projected tier. This article shows you how to check your team's current certification status and enroll them in training in Intuit Accountant Suite (IAS).

Pro Tip: Remember that having at least one actively certified team member is a mandatory baseline requirement to step up from the Member tier into Partner status and unlock upper-tier benefits when ProPartner Accountants officially launches in early 2027. Qualifying certifications include: QuickBooks Online Level 1, QuickBooks Online Level 2, Payroll, and Intuit Enterprise Suite.

Check your firm's projected tier

To review exactly how your current certifications impact your standing:

  1. Go to ProAdvisor.

  2. Find the banner that reads "ProAdvisor is evolving into ProPartner Accountants."

  3. Select the link in the banner to open the ProPartner Accountants preview page.

  4. Review your firm's projected tier, current point total, and the points needed to reach the next tier.

  5. Select Compare tiers to view the benefits at each level, such as expanded revenue share, dedicated customer support, and access to Intuit Accountant Suite (IAS) Accelerate.

Check your team's certification status

Firm admins can view individual transcripts, monitor exam progress, and track renewal deadlines. This ensures your firm maintains its active certification requirements year-round.

  1. Sign in to Intuit Accountant Suite (IAS) using your firm admin credentials.

  2. Point to Firm hub, then point to ProAdvisor, and select Manage training.

  3. Review the list of staff linked to your firm console, including each team member's name, completed and in-progress programs, and completed and in-progress courses.

Enroll your team in certification training

You can enroll your team in ProAdvisor Academy certification programs from Intuit Accountant Suite (IAS).

  1. Point to Firm hub, then point to ProAdvisor, and select ProAdvisor training.

  2. Select Start learning. You're automatically signed in to ProAdvisor Academy in a new tab.

  3. From the My Hub page, go to the Programs tab to review available certification programs, and select Enroll for the program you want.

Note: If you complete lessons from the Learn tab but don't select Enroll on the Programs tab, you won't receive the certification; badges and certifications are only granted after you select Enroll.
