Create and publish your ProAdvisor profile

Creating and publishing a ProAdvisor profile in QuickBooks Online Accountant allows you to showcase your expertise on the Find a ProAdvisor website. By highlighting your skills, QuickBooks certifications, and specializations, you can effectively connect with potential clients.

Step 1: Sign up for QuickBooks Online Accountant

If you have not done so already, you must create a QuickBooks Online Accountant firm. This firm access allows you to review client books, edit transactions, and resolve issues. Additionally, membership makes you eligible for ProAdvisor Program benefits, training, and certification.

Step 2: Create your ProAdvisor profile

Once you have an account, follow these steps to build your profile:

1. Sign in to QuickBooks Online Accountant.
2. Select the Profile icon.
3. Select Go to ProAdvisor profile.
4. Fill out your profile information.

Edit or preview your profile

You can update your information at any time to enhance your profile and attract more leads.

1. Select Edit ✎.
2. Update your information.
3. Select Save. Note: Select Preview to see how your profile appears on the Find a ProAdvisor website.

Step 3: Publish your ProAdvisor profile

Before your profile is public, Intuit must verify your eligibility and identity.

1. Select the Profile icon.
2. Select Go to ProAdvisor profile.
3. Select the Publish profile switch.
4. Fill out the requested information.
5.  Upload a copy of your valid government-issued ID.

Note: To preview your profile on the find a ProAdvisor website, select Preview. 

What to expect after submission

We will typically publish your profile within 2 business days after your information is confirmed. If your information cannot be confirmed immediately, you may receive an email requesting notarized business documentation, such as articles of incorporation or a business license. Once confirmed, your profile will be live on the Find a ProAdvisor website.
