Change your billing plan in QuickBooks Online Payroll

Learn how to update your payroll billing frequency from monthly to annually, or vice-versa.

You can now pay your payroll base fee once a year or every month, giving you more flexibility. You can select a monthly or annual payment in your payroll product.

Notes: -Direct deposit and per employee fees are still billed monthly. -Annual payroll billing is only available if you currently use QuickBooks Online Payroll, or you’re migrating from QuickBooks Desktop Payroll with an annual plan to QuickBooks Online Payroll.

Here’s how to change your billing plan.

Go to Settings ⚙ , then select Subscriptions and billing.
Select Switch to Annual Billing.
Review your fees and billing info.
Select Switch to Annual Billing.
