Learn how to update your payroll billing frequency from monthly to annually, or vice-versa.
You can now pay your payroll base fee once a year or every month, giving you more flexibility. You can select a monthly or annual payment in your payroll product.

| Notes: -Direct deposit and per employee fees are still billed monthly. -Annual payroll billing is only available if you currently use QuickBooks Online Payroll, or you’re migrating from QuickBooks Desktop Payroll with an annual plan to QuickBooks Online Payroll. |
Here’s how to change your billing plan.
- Go to Settings ⚙ , then select Subscriptions and billing.
- Select Switch to Annual Billing.
- Review your fees and billing info.
- Select Switch to Annual Billing.
