Check if you or someone on the team is certified

If you're still using QuickBooks Online Accountant, update to Intuit Accountant Suite before you follow the steps in this article. Your Primary Admin or Company Admin can make this update by selecting the Gear icon, then Try Intuit Accountant Suite when signed into the account.

As your firm prepares for the transition to Intuit ProPartner Accountants, keeping track of your team's certifications is essential for securing your firm's projected tier.

To see exactly how your current certifications impact your standing:

  1. Go to ProAdvisor.

  2. Find the banner that reads "ProAdvisor is evolving into ProPartner Accountants."

  3. Select the link in the banner to open the ProPartner Accountants preview page.

  4. Review your firm's projected tier, current point total, and the points needed to reach the next tier.

  5. Select Compare tiers to see the benefits at each level, such as expanded revenue share, dedicated customer support, and access to Intuit Accountant Suite Accelerate.

Pro Tip: Remember that having at least one actively certified team member is a mandatory baseline requirement to step up from the Member tier into Partner status and unlock upper-tier benefits when ProPartner Accountants officially launches in early 2027.Qualifying certifications include: QuickBooks Online Level 1, QuickBooks Online Level 2, Payroll, and Intuit Enterprise Suite.

You can access training and track credentials in Intuit Accountant Suite using the steps below.

Firm admins can view individual transcripts, monitor exam progress, and track renewal deadlines to ensure your firm maintains its active certification requirements year-round.

To check your team's certification status:

  1. Log into Intuit Accountant Suite using your firm admin credentials.

  2. Hover over Firm hub, then hover over ProAdvisor, and select Manage training.

  3. Here, you will see a comprehensive list of staff members linked to your firm console. The dashboard displays each team member's Name, program completed, program in progress, courses completed, and courses in progress.

To access ProAdvisor Academy and enroll in training:

  1. Hover over Firm hub, then hover over ProAdvisor, and select ProAdvisor training.

  2. Select Start learning (You will automatically sign in to the ProAdvisor Academy in a new tab).

  3. From the My Hub page, navigate to the Programs tab to see a list of certification programs and select Enroll.

Note: If you complete learning courses from the Learn tab but do not enroll in the certification via the Programs tab, you will not receive the certification.Your badges and certifications are only granted once the Enroll button is selected.
