With three years under its belt in the United States, Intuit’s® QuickBooks Connect went global for the first time on March 6-7 in London, and the response was overwhelming.
Not only did QuickBooks Connect UK sell out with more than 1,200 attendees; we saw our goals and expectations shattered, across both media and social coverage and most importantly and a 30-point increase in the QuickBooks® Net Promoter Score (which measures how likely someone is to recommend a product to a friend or colleague).
The London event saw people from all walks of life – developers, designers, entrepreneurs, small business owners and more – gather for an exciting two days. At the event, they were able to hear from inspiring keynote speakers, get a glimpse of Intuit’s latest innovations and futuristic vision, choose from more than 50 workshops with topics covering everything from legal advice to marketing, and connect with many of their peers. There are more than 100,000 QuickBooks subscribers in the UK, and more joining every day.
“The event had a very different feel than those of its competitors,” said the Enterprise Times . “It had a very friendly atmosphere and was subtly different. The messaging on how accountants and bookkeepers need to evolve was similar but phrased in a positive manner focusing on small business and the self-employed…QuickBooks is here to stay and seems to have hit a formula that will see it grow its numbers.”
The Global Reach Continues
After a successful time in the UK, we now shift our focus to more global stops in 2017: QuickBooks Connect Sydney (Australia) will take place on May 18 and we’ll head to Toronto in December. Of course, we will once again return to the San Jose Convention Center for our fourth annual U.S. QuickBooks Connect on Nov. 15-17.
