If you already use Intuit products, you already have an Intuit Account. Simply enter your Intuit user ID and password when prompted inside QuickBooks Time.

Note: You don’t have to update your sign-in to an existing Intuit Account, but if you do, you’ll have one less password to remember! Otherwise, you’ll create a new Intuit Account. 

No problem. You’ll be creating an Intuit Account once you update your QuickBooks Time sign-in. Just enter in your QuickBooks Time user ID and password when asked inside the app. You might have to update your user ID (we suggest using an email address) and/or your password so it meets the Intuit security requirements.

You can use this updated account to try out or use any other Intuit product in the future. Each product connected to an Intuit account only shares sign-in information. No other information is shared between them.

• All users will be required to have either an email or mobile phone number associated with their account. Adding one before the update will make it easier for you.
• Know your current QuickBooks Time password. After your sign-in has been updated, admins will no longer be able to reset passwords for employees. 
• Users can reset their current passwords now to meet the new requirements. It’ll make the update much easier. 

You’re using an Intuit product! Anyone who uses an Intuit product is required to make an Intuit Account. Kiosk-only users are the exception.

Don’t worry—none of your sensitive information will be shared between accounts, unless you have integrated products, like QuickBooks and QuickBooks Time.

For example, if you use TurboTax for personal use, and QuickBooks Time because your employer requires it, you can use the same Intuit Account to sign in to both products, but no information from TurboTax will be connected with QuickBooks Time.

Your password will need to be 8 or more characters and must have at least two of the following:

• Uppercase letter
• Lowercase letter
• Number
• Symbol

Intuit Accounts require an email or mobile phone number. These help you get into your account quickly and are required for recovering your account.
