Dear future me,
I can’t believe our kindergarten dream job is now our career. I could never have imagined that one day I would be introducing myself to people and get to say, “I am an artist. That’s all I do.”
I thought being able to “make it” as an artist was all about how talented you were. I never knew that to really make a living as an artist, you really have to be a marketing expert, an accountant, and a business manager all in one. Being able to keep all of my invoices and accounting clear gives me the time to focus on painting and creating and sharing my work with the world.
I hope I can stay living my dream job and having a life I adore. Every day I work hard and stay focused so that I can make my business dreams come true and hopefully, I can be an artist for the rest of my life.
xoxo
