Easily manage payroll items for multiple employees at once

We heard your feedback and made a way for you to manage all of your payroll items form one place. QuickBooks Online Payroll Core, Premium and Elite customers can now easily view and manage payroll deduction, contributions and pay time for multiple employees at once. We’ll be improving this feature over time, but for now we wanted you to get use to where to access it and how to find the payroll items you want to update. 

See your pay items in one place

To use this new feature select Payroll then Employees and on the Employees page select the Edit payroll items button. You’ll then see all of your pay items including pay types, deductions and contributions. 

Selecting a pay item will show you the employees that have that pay item.

Filter pay items to find the ones you want 

Use Filters to quickly narrow down to the pay items that you want to manage.

You can filter by:

• Employee status 
• Employee types 
• Work location

Update the pay items

After you filtered down to the pay item(s) you want to manage, you can adjust the pay items for the selected employees.
