We are more than your average garden shop—we sell plants online and at a local collective We’re also about to launch a wholesale business of our flagship product, PlantDoc. They’re great for all you over- and under-waterers. Bonus: They’re biodegradable! We also sell plants for homes and offices, as well as greenery to local events and weddings.
The work that I do with houseplants is super fulfilling. I love that I bring people joy and happiness on a daily basis, and I love it so much that we’re working on opening our own brick and mortar later this year in partnership with a local Portland bakery, Shop Halo Halo (you can donate to their bakery fund to help us build out the cafe!)
This is a photo of a wedding I recently styled. The client wanted a Pacific Northwest theme, with a grove of plants and trees. Wedding and event styling is part of our business and though it’s a ton of work, it’s a lot of fun and really transforms an event with joy.
My advice for others starting their own business is to make some daily boundaries for yourself right away; you literally can’t do it all! Congratulate yourself; if you’ve started, you’ve already passed one of the biggest hurdles.
