Outdo: Inside the new Intuit QuickBooks brand campaign

See how Intuit multiplies what you’re capable of with AI agents and trusted Experts at your back and by your side

It’s hard to run a business, but growing a business can seem even more overwhelming when you’re shouldering every decision, and every dollar, and every minute counts. Being pulled in dozens of directions, from chasing payments to juggling multiple apps and platforms, to looking for new leads and opportunities, can make it even harder to achieve the growth and the success that got you into business in the first place.

With Intuit QuickBooks you don’t have to go it alone. Intuit QuickBooks’ new global brand campaign, "Outdo it with Intuit QuickBooks," directly showcases how QuickBooks multiplies business owners’ capabilities with a team of AI agents and trusted experts at their back and by their side. All the ways business owners can outdo their goals, the competition and the day-to-day barriers to running a successful business, such as time constraints and cash flow issues, are front and center in the recently released campaign.

By combining AI agents that handle tasks for you with trusted experts who partner with you, we’re redefining what building a thriving business can look like with the right team. The tedious tasks are done for you, your data is connected, your most critical jobs are simplified all in one place, and you have more time to really focus on growing your business. With this support system, business owners can outdo feeling overwhelmed, outdo financial uncertainty, and outdo the competition.

"Intuit is redefining how businesses grow and thrive with QuickBooks. The launch of “Outdo It with Intuit QuickBooks” shows how we put a team of AI agents and human experts at the side of small business owners, empowering them to outdo their financial best, outdo time constraints and cash flow disruptions, and outdo that constant feeling of being on their own." —Thomas Ranese, Chief Market Officer, Intuit

“Outdo It with Intuit QuickBooks” champions the resilience and innovation of business owners everywhere. This campaign encourages businesses to break through barriers and redefine what’s possible. To authentically represent how integral QuickBooks is to growth the campaign features real customer stories including Dani Dazey, founder of Dazey LA, and Nick Schiffer, founder of NS Builders

Dani Dazey: Bringing the campaign to life

Dani Dazey demonstrates the power of entrepreneurial spirit when channeled toward clear growth goals. Dani founded her Dazey LA clothing line in 2016, and over the past decade, has grown her business to include interior, print and product design, a book deal, and an appearance on the reality TV show, Trixie Motel. Known for her maximalist design approach, Dani’s business expansion into new lifestyle brand extensions has earned her a loyal following that has catapulted her success, created demand for her services, and ultimately moved her small business into mid-market on a fast-moving growth trajectory. With Intuit QuickBooks powering her back-office, Dani can focus on her design clients and time as a creator.

“Using Intuit’s intuitive and simple platform to handle my finances throughout my company’s growth stages has alleviated stress and grown my confidence in understanding how I can actually improve my profitability. Having the ability to chat with trusted experts along the way has allowed me to spend less time figuring out financial complexities and given me the freedom to focus on what really matters — growing my brand, connecting with my customers, and doing the work I love. As a self-proclaimed creative, the AI tools have been a game-changer for managing my spreadsheets and streamlining client invoicing.” —Dani Dazey, Founder, Dazey LA

From do-it-yourself software to done-for-you experiences

The "Outdo" campaign marks a significant evolution for Intuit QuickBooks, from do-it-yourself software to done-for-you experiences powered by the combined force of AI and human intelligence. It visually represents how our new AI agents handle complex tasks behind the scenes, while human experts provide the strategic guidance customers need.

Visualizing your new team: AI agents and human experts

A crucial element of the new campaign was the deliberate decision on how having a team of AI and trusted experts from Intuit at their side came to life. The campaign introduces a new cast of illustrated AI agents, developed through extensive customer research to cut through the noise of a crowded AI landscape. These characters are designed to balance humanity with technology, visually appearing alongside real user-interface (UI) elements, such as invoice reminders and payroll confirmations to demonstrate how AI concretely supports business owners without replacing them. Key benefits highlighted in the campaign include:

  • Done-for-you experiences with new AI Agents: Your team is now multiplied, ready to help you outperform your goals, your numbers, and your competition. Time-intensive tasks such as onboarding new customers, collecting payments, and managing payroll are streamlined by AI agents who handle the details so you can focus on the big picture.
  • Human intelligence picks up where AI left off: Doing it yourself no longer means doing it alone. Our trusted experts step in where our AI agents leave off, providing personalized insights, strategic coaching, and hands-on help to ensure your books are always accurate. This blend of technology and expertise gives businesses the best of both worlds.
  • An all-in-one solution accessible anywhere: No matter your profession or where you work, any business owner can easily access everything they need to run their business all in one place. Available on the web and through our mobile app, QuickBooks on the Intuit platform gives you the freedom to operate your business whenever and wherever you choose, ensuring you never miss an opportunity.
