Managing a business and staying on top of your cash flow is hard. We’re supercharging QuickBooks with the power of AI, automating tasks to save you time, providing insights on your cash flow, and helping you get paid faster. 


1. Intuit Assist for QuickBooks is our new generative AI-powered assistant currently in beta that is revolutionizing how you can easily stay on top of your cash flow. Intuit Assist for QuickBooks turns a photo of a receipt into a categorized transaction, translates vendor PDFs into bills, and automates the creation of invoices by extracting email correspondence or handwritten notes. In addition, it automatically flags invoices that are coming due and drafts reminders for you to review and send.


2. AI-powered Accounting: With the power of AI and automation, QuickBooks takes the tedious work out of bookkeeping, enabling you to spend less time on manual work and more time on growing your business. QuickBooks combines the power of your oversight with the ability to learn how you categorize income and expenses so over time it auto-matches and categorizes your transactions for you. It’s like having an assistant who’s always working in the background. The result: customers save 30 hours per month on average** thanks to QuickBooks’ ability to automatically categorize transactions, income, and expenses and match bill payments to payroll and payments.

QuickBooks Essentials is designed for businesses with a multi-member crew. It has all the same features as Simple Start, with the added bonus of serving three users, plus your accountant.

QuickBooks Self-Employed

QuickBooks Self-Employed has been a valuable tool for self-employed businesses looking to manage their finances and feel prepared and confident at tax time. With simplified tax preparation tools, the ability to separate business from personal expenses, and mileage tracking, QuickBooks Self-Employed helps you stay organized and ready for tax season. Some enhancements of QuickBooks Self-Employed over the years include:


  • Multi-vehicle manager, mileage, and expense tracker: This feature allows users to add multiple vehicles, track miles, and match expenses for each vehicle in QuickBooks Self-Employed. This allows you to maximize tax deductions, and helps you stay prepared for taxes.
  • Reimagined mobile tax experience: This mobile app tax experience is designed to build your confidence at tax time – it shows the connection between deductions and the payoffs, with real-time taxable profit insights, and all of the relevant workflows within the app (banking, trips, home office, tax profile).


You can also check out QuickBooks’s new financial management solution for one-person businesses – QuickBooks Solopreneur. QuickBooks Solopreneur includes an easy-to-use suite of tools for self-employed businesses. It offers an easier setup and navigation than QuickBooks Self-Employed, an automated transaction management experience, and tools to help drive growth. You’ll also be able to provide your customers with even more flexible payment options, send custom estimates, and easily track business goals, plus some other key features:


  1. Seamless books-to-tax experience: QuickBooks Self-Employed enables users to export data to TurboTax, while QuickBooks Solopreneur has a seamless books-to-tax experience with QuickBooks Live Tax. This is designed to save time and effort for Schedule C filers: you can get your taxes filed accurately with unlimited help with your current tax year return from live tax experts, powered by TurboTax. Pay only when you file.**
  2. QuickBooks Checking business bank account: Open a QuickBooks Checking account and enjoy no monthly fees, overdraft fees, or minimum balances. Within your account, you’ll also have access to QuickBooks savings envelopes, which can help your money go further by earning an industry-leading 5.00% APY – that’s 70x the U.S. average.*

QuickBooks Online Payroll

If you run a business with employees, you understand the importance of payroll and team management. There are three QuickBooks Online Payroll products, including Core, Premium, and Elite. Here are some of the latest features new to Core:
