Time is now fully integrated into QuickBooks Online: a seamless, time-tracking experience built inside

• Time tracking, all in one place. Time tracking features will be moved to QBO, allowing new and existing customers to manage their team's timesheets in QBO (no need to access TSheets / classic Time).
• Mobile time tracking, reimagined. Revamped Workforce mobile app with a new location engine and location transparency features, offline mode, look and feel, and even manager/admin features to manage the team's timesheets on the go.
• Modern, straightforward, fast. No more syncing, no more exporting. Time will be directly embedded within the QBO ecosystem.

• Onboard within QuickBooks Online. All time tracking settings are moved into QBO, allowing new users to onboard and existing users to manage their time tracking settings inside QuickBooks.
• Time tracking for all types of businesses. Assign jobs or projects and timesheet values to workers so they track time against the right jobs/service items/cost code, ensuring accurate labor cost reporting and time entry.**
• Flexible overtime and breaks. Build simple and complex manual and automatic break rules, advanced overtime policies and set different thresholds for your local and global workforce.

• Assign shifts. Manage your team's schedule on the web or on the go via mobile app. Keep track of when a team member is scheduled for a shift or job. Assign unassigned shifts to team members.
• See who's working. When employees are on the clock and sharing their location, admins and team leads can see who's working, where. Ensure team members are where they need to be at all times.

• Manage Projects. Keep track of time and labor costs towards projects, right in QBO. Keep track of estimates vs. actuals for hours against a project.** Have employees post project updates in a project activity feed.**
• Real-time Project Profitability. Create an estimate by hours or by service items. Track budgeted hours in real time, as employees clock in and out.**
• Project tracking, on the go. Use the Workforce Mobile app to track hours to projects and add posts.** Projects can also be geofenced to ensure workers clock in and out at the project site.**

• Mileage tracking on-the-go. Now, teams can automatically track their mileage in addition to their location while on the clock.** Mileage shows up as a numeric value on the timesheet, allowing admins to calculate reimbursements through payroll.
• Improved location tracking. Admins and team managers can now precisely see where their team members are while on the clock. Location points are also shown to ensure team members are where they need to be.
• Set and enforce geofencing. Admins can set geofences in QBO now, ensuring workers clock in and out within the job site.**

• Single time off experience across Workforce and Time. For QuickBooks Workforce Premium and Elite users, admins can configure time-off policies, approve/deny time off requests, and view company-level time off that is unified across QuickBooks Workforce and Time.
• Request & approve time off. Employees can easily view their time-off balances, accruals, and history of their requests, all within the Workforce employee portal, our all-in-one employee hub.
• Flexible time off policies. Along with existing time-off policies in QuickBooks Workforce Premium and Elite, custom policies will support bereavement, floating holidays, tenure rules, proration, and more.

Note: We are still working to migrate the time off experience for QuickBooks Time users who don't have a QuickBooks Workforce Premium or Elite plan. Until then, those users can continue managing time off in classic Time.

• Employees will be able to track time in the Workforce employee web portal. Employees who have desk jobs can clock in, clock out, or enter in hours without downloading the Workforce mobile app.
• Time off, paychecks, schedules, projects, and more. Employees can already view their paystubs and HR documents via the Workforce web portal. Now, employees can submit time off, view their schedules, and track time towards projects there as well. Workers can use both Workforce for web and mobile app to track their time.

• Turn paper timesheets into digital ones. Easily take a photo of a paper timesheet and our AI will turn the paper timesheet into a digital one.
• Turn a PDF, spreadsheet, or document into a timesheet. Complex spreadsheets, PDFs, and docs are also supported. Admins, managers, and employees can even submit photos of text messages exchanged. AI will automatically assign the right employee, customer, field, and hours by day (including overtime).

No action is needed. Rolling out in phases over the coming months, this transition will move all classic Time customers to manage their timekeeping, time management, and scheduling tasks in QuickBooks Online. Each group will receive an email notification in advance of this change.

Yes. If you'd like to start using it sooner, you can navigate to the Time app within QuickBooks at any time.

No. Moving to the new time-tracking experience doesn't change your QuickBooks Time or QuickBooks Workforce subscription or pricing. If you choose to switch to a different plan, then your cost may change.

Yes. Your historical time data, team members, and settings move with you. You don't need to re-enter anything or run a final export from classic Time.

No action is needed from your team. Employees keep using the Workforce mobile app to clock in and out, and they can now also track time, request time off, and view their schedule in Workforce on the web. Their login and history stay the same. If your team runs into anything that slows them down, please flag it with the "Give Feedback" button in QuickBooks Online so we can fix it.

Your clients will be moved to the new experience on our rollout schedule by customer group. You can continue managing their time from within each client's QuickBooks account, and the link back to classic Time is available during the transition if you need it. If a client's workflow depends on something you can't find in the new experience, use the "Give Feedback" button on any QuickBooks Online Time page to let us know.

Yes. You'll still be able to reach classic Time at tsheets.intuit.com before we retire the site in a few months. Because the navigation and workflows are similar, you may not need to use it.

Most classic Time features are available in the new experience, and we're continuing to add more. If there's a specific workflow you rely on, like breaks, approving time, printing timesheets, or seeing total hours per employee, the video and help articles show where to find it, and the link back to classic Time is there while you are getting used to the new experience.
