Let's determine why your PayPal transactions are not downloaded, biltmorecentralt.

There are lots of possible reasons why transactions won’t download. They include:

  • A connection issue between your bank and QBO.
  • The financial institution’s server is offline.
  • Error messages or codes that require you to perform a certain task.

To isolate this issue, let's add the transactions manually. All you have to do is click the Banking tab and then select Update.

If the download seems stuck, let's check your bank's website to see if there's ongoing page maintenance. You can get your bank's URL from QuickBooks:

  1. Go to the Banking menu.
  2. Select Add Account
  3. Search for your bank and select it.
  4. Copy the URL listed in the window.
  5. Sign in using your bank username and password.

Hi. I am having the same problem. It doesn't appear to be a problem with PayPal. I can log in there with no issues. The last transaction in QB that was downloaded was on 4/3/2020. In QB it doesn't try to download any new transactions from Paypal. There have been many transactions since 4/3, so I know that's not the problem.

I disconnected Paypal and reconnected using the "Connect to Paypal" app. That made no difference. In banking, where you review downloaded transactions, it just says "all done" or Paypal. I get no errors at all.

Thanks for any help!
