Add or change currency

Correct.  Simple Start only supports single currency. Upgrade to QBO Essentials. Another option, use old QB Desktop with a non subscription license if your budget is limited.

That's right. Simple Start only works with one currency. You'll need to upgrade to Essentials, Plus, or Advanced plans to use Multicurrency.
