I know the benefits of using the new layout of estimates, @stuartM1. Rest assured that I'll be here to guide you on how to set this up for you.

Before digging deeper into your concern, I'd like to share an insight about the new estimate experience in QuickBooks Online. Please be aware that the feature to switch to the new layout is available in the latest QBO subscriptions. If you have this option, you can duplicate this transaction and change it to the new layout.

Here's how:

  1. Go to Sales, then select Estimates.
  2. Choose the estimate you want to duplicate, then click the Dropdown button.
  3. Select Duplicate.
  4. Click the Update Layout button at the upper right corner of the screen.
  5. Select Update Layout to proceed.

On the other hand, if you don't have this option, I recommend sending a feedback to our Product Development team. This way, they can see your request and consider it for the next program update.

I recommend visiting this article for more details: See what’s new with estimates and invoices in QuickBooks Online.

Moreover, here's an article to help you link your estimate and invoices inside QBO: Convert an estimate into an invoice in QuickBooks Online.

It's been a pleasure to have you here today. In case you have other QuickBooks-related queries. Feel free to drop by or comment below so we can get back to you as soon as possible. Have a great day!
