Hello there, @JR69.

I'm here to help you remove the error message so you'll be able to email the statements to your customers.

One possible reason why your unable to send statements is that your email preferences was set incorrectly.

QuickBooks periodically provides maintenance release and product updates. This will help in fixing emailing concerns, features, and update compliance information. With this, I'd recommend updating QuickBooks Desktop software to its latest release.

Once done, let's check your email preferences to make sure it's set up correctly.

  1. Go to the Edit menu.
  2. Select Preferences.
  3. Choose Send Forms on the left panel.
  4. Under My Preferences tab, select the email account you're using.
  5. Click Edit.
  6. Mark the SSL box, or just select Default.
  7. In the Server Name field, make sure the server name matches your email provider's settings.

If you see "smtp.mail.yahoo.com" for example, change the name "intuit.smtp.mail.yahoo.com" and select OK.

In case you're getting an incorrect password error message, you can check out this article to resolve it: Fix webmail password issues in QuickBooks Desktop. It also contains detailed steps on how you can check your antivirus settings.

Please let me know if you have other concerns. I'm just around to help.
