I CAN'T OPEN A COMPANY

Let's troubleshoot the issue so you can open the company file, SYLVIA1957.   

Errors related to new installations are usually caused by damaged QuickBooks elements. We have a tool that helps resolve errors like this. It is called the QuickBooks Install Diagnostic Tool. You can run this tool first to see if it fixes all of the errors, and proceed to the additional solutions if the same thing happens. 

Here's how: 

1. Download the QuickBooks Install Tool.
2. Save the file on your Desktop when prompted.
3. Close all open programs, and then run the QuickBooks Install Tool.
4. It may take up to 20 minutes to complete depending on your internet speed and computer's performance.
5. After running the QuickBooks Install Tool, restart your computer to make sure the components are properly updated.
