Invisible recurring transactions

Here's how to track them down:

1. Check the Audit Log first — go to the gear icon (Settings) > Audit Log, then filter by transaction type (Journal Entry or Deposit). Look for an event that says "Made Recurring." This will confirm the template exists and show you its name.

2. Search the Recurring Transactions list — go to Settings > Recurring Transactions and use the search bar or filter by transaction type. Journal entries and deposits can get buried in a long list, so filtering helps a lot.

3. If you still cant find it, open one of the actual transactions that's been auto-generating each month (find it in your register or transaction list), then click the dropdown action menu on that transaction and look for "Edit Template." That takes you directly to the template where you can edit or delete it.

For your journals that change month to month, consider switching the template type from Scheduled to Reminder. That way QBO nudges you each each month but doesn't auto-post and give you the chance to adjust the amounts before it hits your books.
