Removing subtotal from Check Detail report

Does anyone know how to remove the subtotal from the check detail report in QBO?  Every check has a line with the detail that I select and then below that line is another line with just the amount.  How do I remove that second line?

Thanks!

Good day, @CBSSP. I value your suggestions to remove the subtotal from the Check Detail report. I am pleased to provide insights about the amount displayed in the second line item of your report.

The removal of the amount in the second line item from the Check Detail report is not possible, as it functions according to its intended design. QuickBooks Online employs double-entry accounting, where every transaction or event impacts two or more accounts in the ledger. Each of these alterations includes both a debit and a credit that are applied to one or more accounts.

Please take note that the double entry will appear only in the report and not when you print a check. For more details about double-entry, see this article: How accounts are affected by debits and credits.
