Vendor List Changes

Hi,

How would I view changes/edits to the vendor list? Other than exporting the entire file and comparing it to a previous export I cannot find a way to find this control.

I know I can review edits to the lists under Accounting Tools and view the transaction edits under the Audit Trail report.

I understand how important it is for you to be able to view the changes to your vendor lists. However, exporting them or using the Audit Trail report are the options currently available.

Is there a filter for the Audit Report to list only edits made to the vendor list? (Ex: New vendor added).

Currently, the report returns all transactions made.

At this time, there's not a way to show edits to vendors in the Audit Trail report in QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise. I'm going to submit feedback to the Product Development Team about bringing in a feature to allow this to happen. You can visit our Blog to see what's new in our products.
